The Everhardt SOTT series CB antenna is made in the USA with quality materials including a heavy duty fiberglass core.  It can be used on frequencies between 26-29MHz.  The tuning nail on the top of the SOTT makes SWR tuning a snap.  Due to the heavy duty construction, the SOTT can handle up to 2,000 watts of power.  Other manufacturers have tried to copy the SOTT for years, but they are just as good as the original 1 1/2 wave Everhardt SOTT CB antenna.

Installation

The Everhardt SOTT CB antenna can be installed on any compatible 3/8 x 24 threaded stud mount.  Remember after installation, make sure you tune your CB antenna using an SWR meter.  Tuning the antenna is the most important part of the installation to maximize the performance of any CB antenna.

Warranty

Range

The range of the Everhardt SOTT CB Antenna will vary greatly depending on surroundings, weather, etc.  You can normally expect these ranges on CB frequencies:

3' SOTT 2-3 Miles
4' SOTT 3-5 Miles

Tuning

The Everhardt SOTT CB antenna has a tuning nail for easy SWR tuning.  If the SWR is greater on Channel 40 than on Channel 1, then you have an electrically long antenna and need to make it smaller by pushing in the tip or removing it (if necessary).  If the SWR is greater on Channel 1 than on Channel 40, then you have a electrically short antenna and need to pull out the tip (to make it longer) or you can add a spring or quick disconnect to make it longer.
